Got any suggestions?
I wrote what was in my opinion a sufficiently official-sounding and thorough Notice to Quit (for which there are next to no examples available for free online) on behalf of our household, and now we need to find a nice place to stay before the end of May. Not only will I have exams and coursework to worry about, but I’ll need to do my bit about moving house as well.
I’d prefer if the new place had:
- Non-leaky roof
- No mold or damp
- Reasonable insulation
- Communal space
- Decent kitchen
- Phone line
Incidentally, these are all things the current place lacks. Or has, as the case may be.
Good transport links and a rent under £100 per week per bedroom, please. Got any bright ideas?

GumTree, The Loot, notice boards at local universities, forum.isory.org, hmm.. Might even wanna ask some estate agents.

Oh, believe me. I’ve been all over Gumtree et al. lately. It’s probably still too early to get something for late May, but I am keeping my eyes open. I guess I’d just prefer if something just appeared in front of me without much work.

I’ve always found good leads from http://www.findaproperty.co.uk I like how you can search by areas of London, but also by your budget. Good luck!
